The political science professor at Yale University, Jacob S. Hacker, gave the 4th lecture of the "Fight inequalities" cycle organized by the Catalunya Europa Foundation together with the la Caixa Foundation on the predistribution of wealth.

Hacker raises the question of whether in a context of "fiscal dumping" inequality can be reduced through pre-distribution and what are the pre-distribution policies that can be most useful to combat inequality.
