Until October 14 at the Clot-Josep Benet library in Barcelona

Photo exhibition Prize "What is Europe for you?"

Until next Friday, October 14, you can visit the traveling exhibition of photographs "What is Europe for you?" at the Clot-Josep Benet library in Barcelona, ??organized by the Catalunya Europa Foundation.

In this exhibition, you will be able to see eighteen of the works presented in the second edition of the award "What is Europe for you?", including the winning photographs in the two categories of the award, best realization and best original idea. Each of the photographs reflects different visions of Europe: critical, historical or allegorical views are intertwined and form a mosaic of points of view that bring us closer to European reality through the eyes of the youngest.

The prize is aimed at students in the second cycle of ESO, high school and training cycles in Catalan schools. Last June, the award jury decided on the names of the winning works of this year's edition, which received the awards at a ceremony held at the Catalan Association of Journalists.

The prize is aimed at students in the second cycle of ESO, high school and training cycles in Catalan schools. Last June, the award jury decided on the names of the winning works of this year's edition, which received the awards at a ceremony held at the Catalan Association of Journalists.

The prize for the best original idea was for the image "La benvinguda d'Europa" by Christelle Jeanne Piera Llort, a 2nd year high school student at the Antoni de Martí i Franquès Institute in Tarragona; and the best performance went to the work "Light and prosperity" by Mireia Grabulosa, a 4th year ESO student at the INS de Celrà.

"What is Europe for you?" it is not only a photography and audiovisual award, but also a way to invite young people to reflect on the European reality, to develop their creativity through photography and to communicate through images.

If you want to see the exhibition, entry is free and you can check the timetables on the website of the Clot-Josep Benet library, located within the grounds of the Barcelona Design Museum, at Plaça de les Glòries 37-38. The intention is that the exhibition can be seen later in other spaces and towns in Catalonia.

Currently, the third edition of the awards organized by the Catalunya Europa Foundation with the support of the Abacus cooperative and the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya has already opened.
