On May 31, the jury of the award "What is Europe for you?" resolved the winners and winners of this year.
Within the category of photography, the best original idea is for the image "Peace and brotherhood" by Roger Peracaula Solà, ESO 4th student of the Celrà Institute; and the best technical realization is for the image "Europe on the move" by Marina Mora Escudé, ESO 4th student at the Diocesan School of Navàs.
As for the category of video, the jury has awarded two ex aquos awards for best original idea for "Europe needed" of a group of students of 2nd baccalaureate of the Instituto Manuel Blancafort of La Garriga and for "A past for a present" from a group of ESO 3rd students from the Instituto Virgen del Portal de Batea; the award for best technical achievement was taken with the video "Nostalgie Européenne" from a group of 1st graders from the Diocesan School of Navàs.
One of the novelties of this second edition of the award was the category of Innovation, but the jury has decided to declare the category deserted due to the lack of works presented in the required formats (comic, collage, photomontage, song or podcast, among others).
The awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday 27 June at 18h in the Europa room of the European Parliament and the European Commission Representation in Barcelona (Pg. de Gràcia, 90).
