The director of the Catalonia Europa Foundation, Dolors Camats, has recently traveled to Berlin in a visit marked by the exchange of ideas and the strengthening of collaboration with various organizations committed to the defense of democracy.
During his stay, Camats had the opportunity to meet with various personalities and institutions that work for democracy and social justice at the European level. Among the meetings, the meeting with Marie Kapretz, Delegate of the Government of the Generality of Catalonia in Germany, stands out, who was key to opening new ways of collaboration. In addition, the exchange with Dora Cavalcanti Ehrlich and the team of the Apolitical Foundation, as well as the visit to the Willy Brandt Forum, a space dedicated to the dissemination and preservation of European historical memory, stands out.
Camats also participated in an act on democracy organized by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, in the framework of its fifteenth anniversary, where essential issues for the future of democratic systems were debated. Finally, we would like to thank the cordiality of Cathryn Clüver Ashbrook and Vicent Climent-Ferrando, from the Bertelsmann Foundation, for sharing with the Foundation perspectives on democracy as a project of social justice and freedom.
