Today, May 5, 2015, the European flag turns 60 and the Catalunya Europa Foundation has wanted to celebrate by sharing its story with students at the University Pompeu Fabra. It was a peaceful morning in the Agora Space of the Ciutadella Campus, where it has informed the students about the origin of the creation of the 12 -star flag, as well as the work of the Foundation.

The commemoration has had the participation of two special guests, Maria Badia and Oscar Intente. Badia, MEP between 2004 and 2014, has made a parliament in which, in a context marked by the municipal elections, stressed the importance often forgotten local vote on the overall European project, encouraging students to know the European program of their parties. For his part, the actor Oscar Intente interpreted a fragment of the play "The idea of Europe" by George Steiner.
