Researcher Lela Mélon, PhD in Corporate Law from the University of Aberdeen, executive coordinator of the Planetary Wellbeing Institutional Framework project and professor in ESCI-UPF, has been the winner of the 21st Century Europe Talent Award', convened by the Fundació Catalunya Europa, CIDOB and the Fundació Banc Sabadell. An award aimed at European policies in the social, economic and political fields

Mélon has been proclaimed winner with the work: The EU Non-Financial Reporting Directive and the corporate narrative disclosure practices: the case of fashion industry.

Pol Morillas, director of CIDOB, and Pau Mas, director of the Fundació Catalunya Europa, co-chaired the Jury for this Award, which also included Sofía Rodríguez, chief economist at Banco Sabadell; Anna Terrón, director of FIIAPP; Eva Anduiza, Professor of Political Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ??and Javier Arregui, Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Pompeu Fabra University.

The "21st Century Europe Talent Award" is part of the "Global Talent" Program of CIDOB and the Banco Sabadell Foundation.
