Mayor of Terrassa by the PSC (1979-2002).
President of Diputació de Barcelona (1987-2003).
Delegate of the Spanish Government at the Consorci de la Zona Franca (2004-2012).
He was one of the founders of the Front Obrer de Catalunya, then he was in the creation of Convergència Socialista de Catalunya, after that he entered the PSC-Congrés and from there to the Partit dels Socialistes de Catalunya when it was founded, having several responsibilities along the time.

This collection will be progressively expanded by incorporating new witnesses on a regular basis. The aim is to achieve a varied and complete vision of Catalan society at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century with the figure of Pasqual Maragall as a point of reference.
