"The economic balance of migrations" was the title of the second session of the cycle "The future is intercultural". This session was led by Marta Foresti, a migration expert and director of the Human Mobility Initiative of the Overseas Development Institute, and moderated by Josep Oliver, professor of applied economics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The main objective of this second session was to introduce the economic perspective into the debate on immigration policies, assessing what could be, in general, the balance of the migrant population in the host country, as well as the management public made from the latter.
