The report "An Analysis of Social Progress in the Demarcation of Girona" analyzes the main points that the Index of European Social Progress indicates as problematic for Catalonia: Housing, Education, Labour Market and Democratic Quality. The data analyzed show that the situation of education and housing in the demarcation of Girona is worse than the average for Catalonia. In addition, there is a strong division within the demarcation, with counties that show results to the indicators of education and housing near or even higher than the average of Catalonia (La Garrotxa, El Pla de l'Estany) and Counties that show much lower results than the average for Catalonia (Alt i Baix Empordà).
