This synthesis has been carried out from Professor Stiglitz's interventions in the project "Fighting inequalities: the great global challenge" that consisted of a public lecture, a seminar with participants from the academic world of Catalonia and a meal that brought together diverse personalities from the economic, social, political and business world of Catalonia in the format "Exploring the Consensus Limits". The set of activities was held in Barcelona at the Palau Macaya on June 2, 2017. The order of the content is thematic and does not represent the order in which it was expressed by Professor Stiglitz.
